The name AVALON derives from the Celtic mythology
-an island represented as earthly paradise-
and the music clearly reflects this origin.
But also Scottish folk and American rock elements
found their way into AVALON`s repertoire and unite
in a melting pot of musical influences.
The characteristic sound is defined by melodious tunes,
songs for three voices and a violin as lead instrument.
Three solo singers complete the band´s exceptional role.
